FAQ's

Everyone has questions...
  • Is the camp only open to boys?
Yes -- the staff for this camp is comprised of Mens College Coaches, but the camp is open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
  • Is this a teaching camp?
This is an ID camp, which is different than a teaching camp. While campers will learn from the experience, the emphasis is on creating the most visibility as possible for the players.
  • I'm not from New Mexico. Can I attend?
Yes! We welcome players from anywhere. The camp is open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.
  • Can the coaches at camp actively recruit me?
That depends. NCAA rules apply to our ID camp as they do to all other ID camps. To learn more about recruiting regulations, please visit the NCAA's recruiting website here. Please see the NCAA Division I Recruiting Guide here.
  • What should I bring to camp?
Bring a ball, cleats, shin guards, water, sunscreen, and any snacks you may need. We will supply a camp shirt and numbered bib.
  • Do you video the sessions or games?
At this time we do not offer video.
  • Do you provide lunch? Transportation? Lodging?
Players are responsible for providing their own food, transportation and lodging.
  • Will there be an athletic trainer present?
Yes. We will have an athletic trainer present for all session.
  • What is the camp schedule?
The daily schedule is posted on the website.
  • What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Rise College Soccer ID Camps will provide a full refund to all campers if the camp must be canceled in its entirety (due to pandemic, forced government closure, etc.) If you are unable to attend and cancel your registration three weeks prior to the start of camp, you will receive a full refund, less a $75 admin fee. If you cancel between 14 and 7 days prior to the start of camp, you will receive a 50% refund. If you cancel within 7 days of the start of camp, you will not receive a refund and will forfeit 100% of your registration fee.
  • What is "Insurance" and do I need it?"
When you register, you can choose to buy insurance (usually between $30 and $50) which may reimburse your registration fee under certain circumstances if you are unable to attend camp and it is past the deadline to receive a refund. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance as we have seen campers who have become sick or injured just prior to camp receive reimbursement through it. This insurance is provided through a 3rd party and is not affiliated with Rise College Soccer ID Camps. Please make sure to read the terms and conditions before deciding whether or not to purchase insurance.
  • Is there a guarantee that the coaches listed for the camp will attend?
We cannot guarantee a specific coach's attendance. Life is uncertain, especially during the times we live in. Illness, government-imposed restrictions on travel and other factors may impact a particular coach's ability to attend the camp. We will update the website if changes to the coaching roster happens.
